Want to customize your guest registration experience with DynamicSync and Infusionsoft?
For those utilizing the guest registration feature in DynamicSync, will know that you have the ability for the primary registrant to provide the details of their guests.
From here, their guest will be added to your database as well as to your event to receive the event confirmation and reminders automatically.
We have made two software updates to help customize your guest registration process with DynamicSync. Let’s take a look at them and where you can update for your events.
1. Guest Registration Fields
Depending on the event, you may need to capture all or just some of the information.
The current fields available when registering a guest are:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Mobile
Prior to this latest update, the only mandatory fields needed was the First Name and Email. Now, as a user of DynamicSync, you have the ability to set the default for all of your events. You can set all fields now to be mandatory, including Last Name and Mobile.
You can access and update this setting under Settings / Defaults / Guest Registration:
Just check the boxes beside Last Name Required and/or Mobile Required if you want these fields to be mandatory.

Here’s what it looks like on a Guest Registration screen:
This may seem like a minor update, however for some of you, we recognize getting these extra details for your guests, particularly phone number allows you to follow up and send text messages to help get more bums on seats at your next event.
2. Thank You Message After Guest Registration Confirmed
Once a primary registrant has confirmed their guest details, they are then taken to a separate page to display the confirmation message. You now have the ability to add custom text onto that page so that you can further explain what will happen next. This is useful if the primary person who has just submitted their guest details are left wondering if it worked and how their guest/s will be notified.
This is where the screen displays this information:
You can update your thank you message text in the same area – Settings / Defaults / Guest Registration.
